I remember when I booked my first ever hostel and bed in a shared dorm – my anxiety was out of this world. The night before I set off, I was so convinced one of my roommates was going to kill me so I started to look for hotels (which ended up costing an arm and a leg as it was the night before). But now that I’ve gone for myself, I can tell you is that I WAS WRONG and this city is AMAZING! It’s definitely one of Europe’s “hidden gems” and now I know why everyone is trying to keep it their little secret.
